Freeman Sands, with a strong background in construction spanning over 20 years, has a remarkable history of ownership in both private residential and national commercial development companies. His expertise in the construction industry has been a cornerstone of his career. Kellie Battle, brings a diverse skillset to the partnership as she holds two degrees, one in International Marketing and another in Computer Information Systems. Notably, Kellie is also a licensed CA real estate broker, showcasing her multifaceted expertise in computer science, finance, and real estate. In 2009, Freeman Sands and Kellie Battle joined forces to embark on a successful journey in the rock salt industry. Together, they established Rock Salt Source Inc. With their company structured as a woman owned, minority, small business, they secured government contracts and began supplying local and governing agencies, including the Department of Transportation, with de icing salt for roads and highways. Their expansion also led to the provision of pool salt and water softener salt. Staying within the realm of commodities, Freeman Sands and Kellie Battle continued their entrepreneurial spirit, utilizing their resources in the sand industry and their expertise in commodities. This led to the creation and growth of the Battle and Sands Energy Corporation brand. Paul DeVille is currently the Vice President of Operations at Battle & Sands Energy Corp and plays a vital role in the senior leadership team at Signal Peak Silica, LLC. Starting as a Laboratory Technician in 1997, Paul advanced to become a Shift Supervisor at American Iron Reduction. With over a decade at Cabot Corporation, he achieved a two-time recipient of the prestigious Samuel W. Bodman award, progressing from a Warehouse Technician to a Production Supervisor. In 2012, Paul joined Shale Support Services as Plant Manager, responsible for facility design and operational team assembly.From 2013 to 2018, as Senior Vice President, he led Shale Support Services to two Sentinels of Safety Awards from the National Mining Association.His tenure at Orion Engineered Carbons culminated in the Orange facility becoming the top-performing site globally amongst thirteen production sites.Paul authored an article on proppant efficiency and well productivity, published in E&P Magazine in 2017, and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year for the Special Operations Wounded Warrior Organization in 2018. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management Systems with a minor in Chemistry from Louisiana State University. His extensive leadership experience and commitment to innovation make him a valued executive in the industry.

James Norton is a seasoned executive with a remarkable track record in both the railroad and oil/gas industries. With over 20 years of experience in the railroad sector and 12 years in oil/gas and material distribution, he has built a distinguished career. Starting as a Train Dispatcher, James steadily climbed the ranks, achieving several senior leadership positions, including General Manager of Operations. His 14-year tenure at the BNSF Railway in Fort Worth, TX, in various executive management roles, stands as a testament to his leadership skills. In the last six years, James has excelled as Chief Operating Officer for two different oil and gas companies and as Vice President of Operations for a material distribution organization in Dallas, TX. James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communications from the University of Northern Colorado and has pursued additional MBA coursework at the University of Dallas.

Colten Morris has had a remarkable career in the oil and gas industry. After graduating from A.C. Jones High School in Beeville, TX in 2008, he went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biology from Tarleton State University in 2012. Colten started his professional journey as an Engineer with C&J Energy Services, specializing in hydraulic fracturing and coiled tubing. He took on various engineering roles, showcasing his expertise and adaptability. In 2019, Colten was recruited by startup frac company, Straitline Pumps, where he played a pivotal role in building the company from scratch. He eventually became the District Engineering Position, solidifying his reputation as an industry leader. In 2021, Colten joined another startup company, Diamond Frac Solutions, as the Engineering Manager. He expanded his responsibilities to include overseeing the Accounts Payable and Maintenance departments. Under his management, Diamond Frac Solutions now has two Frac Fleets. His journey serves as an inspiration to emerging professionals in the field.
